Here, you will find only images of wildlife and flora from our community. All photographs presented were taken during our missions out in nature, never in a zoo, garden, or botanical museum. The image hunter's approach rests precisely on this principle: setting out to encounter wild authenticity and capturing, with patience and respect, the moment exactly as it is.
For the luckiest — or most tenacious — it sometimes happens that the encounter of a lifetime occurs just around the bend of a trail. Those who persevere in this pursuit of nature sometimes experience the moment that transforms their outlook and redefines their approach to photography. It is this rare and fleeting moment that we strive to convey to you throughout these pages.
Finally, we want to make this clear: no image presented on this portal is generated or altered by artificial intelligence. Even when certain scenes seem improbable, they are authentic and true, direct witnesses to reality and the richness of the living world.
A viable alternative to inaction
Did you know that since the year 2000, 1,406 species have probably already gone extinct but have not yet been officially declared so?
Extinction is happening faster than science can document it: more than one species per week over the past 25 years!
Faced with this reality, one idea became obvious: go back to basics and open a scientific research institution that is simple, rigorous, and true to its commitments. Built to drive concrete action and share best practices, relying on the people already getting involved...
This initiative was born from the meeting of Pascale and Gabriel: one passionate about eco-design and group action, the other about "wild" nature and effective action, both always connected to the protection of living things. And since the work needed doing, it might as well benefit as many people as possible.
That is why, in 2025, they both sold their houses to fund SIGMA-VISION's green transformation, giving it the means to become a genuine scientific research and development institution focused on action!
